What they're saying about BritCits

We try not to blow our own trumpets too much. But we're delighted by some of the feedback we've got over the months and wish to share a selection. Many thanks to our members, friends, and allies for their ongoing support - we need it!

'BritCits have been very helpful with advice and support during our dealing with the UKBA and Home Office. ' - David.

BritCits is an invaluable resource for all things pertaining to the debate around the UK's family migration rules. - Sarah.

'Britcits are a very active, very much needed support organisation, a vital resource in supporting the increasing numbers of genuine British married couples caught up in the devastating trauma of receiving a visa refusal for the non-European partner. This is tearing families apart and having terrible repercussions extending to the whole family of those couples. As a mother and mother-in-law to such a couple, not just my son and daughter-in-law's lives have been devastated, but my own too! Being together as a family is the basis of a stable and happy society, those to whom it is denied desperately need the sort of support that Britcits voluntarily provides! Please keep up your excellent work!' - Joyce.

BritCits was set up following the UK's introduction of tough new rules on immigration in July 2012 and has kept people affected by this crisis informed since then. Unlike some other campaign groups which have waned, BritCits has remained strong and this must be due to the dedication of its staff. In particular I'd like to recommend Steven Green and BritCits Sonel for their tireless support at BritCits. - Colin.

'These are people who are fighting for the right for families to be together, since July 2012 the British government took away many families right to be together. Please support this group.' - Robert.

BritCits is a professionally run organisation. Sonel and Steven in particular are supportive, knowledgeable and driven. They find innovative ways to achieve their goals and do not lose sight of the needs of their clients. They are excellent lobbyists and Britcits are strategic in their approach. - Andrea.

'BritCits provides an important and invaluable service to those of us affected by the UK's immigration legislation, giving voice to families devastated by the cruel new rules that were put into place in July 2012. As most of us cannot help but feel overwhelmed by having our family lives put at risk by cynical and politically-motivated policies, BritCits offers a much-needed sanctuary of moral support. The information and advocacy BritCits provides serves as a beacon of hope for those of us who just want the basic human right of a family life with our UK partners in their own homeland. ' - Gary.

BritCits' (Sonel and Steven) campaigning work ticks all the boxes: thorough, persistent, fact-based, imaginative, empathetic and inspirational. If the current draconian immigration rules that transgress basic human rights are ever to be humanised then BritCits' superb work and work ethic will have played a major part. BritCits deserves proper recognition and multiple awards. - Gerard.

'Sonel and Steven have been a source of inspiration and support for many people and their families in what is a nightmare scenario for most of them. Tirelessly campaigning in a professional manner they have united many people from all walks of life to become one family with one representative voice lobbying on behalf of each and everyone of them. I am proud to know both of them, they are BritCits. ' - David.

BritCits is an amazing group of highly motivated, bright and energetic people looking to establish justice for the British families who found themselves caught in the recently introduced UK family immigration rules which were designed to win the votes of unassuming members of British public by reducing immigration figures at the cost of British hard working lawful people. It has been a real pleasure dealing with Sonel and Steve, their proactive and 'can do' approach is very inspiring and contagious. Thanks to their activity many desperate separated families started seeing the light at the end of the British emigration senseless rules tunnel. - Yana.

'BritCits is a group of UK Citizens who work together to campaign against the unjust and unfair effect of the UK Immigration Rules that are dividing families in the governments campaign to win votes. They are a support network offering help, information and friendly meetups to those affected. You are not alone. Others are here for you!' - Wayne.

BritCits has done a sterling job advocating for the rights of British Citizens whose families are divided by the UK's new family migration rules and is at the forefront of a grassroots campaign to lobby politicians and other stakeholders to listen to those affected, change the unfair laws dividing, families and ensure that family life is a right, not a privilege. Thank you BritCits! - Christine.

'BritCits has helped hundreds if not thousands of people with UK family immigration information. I highly recommend BritCits for its knowledge, enthusiasm, advice and passion in this field. BritCits is an active campaigner bringing familes together who are currently separated by the current UK visa rules affecting Non-EU spouses.' - Liz.

Sonel is a founder of BritCits. This organisation is very professional and supportive in helping people, families like ours, with immigration issues. Her personal contribution and involvement with my mothers' immigration problems was invaluable. She supported us from the very beginning in every single step of our journey, given plenty of information, cheering when we felt very low, encouraging not to give up. She is a very bright and talented individual. But most importantly she has a golden heart. Thank you so much, Sonel. - Svetlana.

'Expert and in-depth and up to date knowledge. Extremely dedicated - gave very detailed information and support which was pivotal to our case. Available 7 days a week, often in the evenings and early hours to help us meet our deadlines.Always positive, friendly and encouraging during a very bad time for our family. We will always be very grateful to Sonel.' - Alan.
